One of my favorite pictures in 2023 is me cycling among the famous asian movie stars……oops, not the real people, they are the wax figures in Madame Tussauds Hong Kong. As you can see, the most fun part for me in this act is riding the bicycle.

When I studied in the graduate school, I rode my bike to classrooms, labs, and dormitory. It was cool. Now, I prefer to cycling in the natural park or somewhere not crowded, so called exercises. Katy Trail in Missouri is a great place to cycling and enjoy the natural beauty.

This spring I spent almost a month with my mother in the assisted living at Xiamen. Xiamen is a tourist city for its beach and ocean view to Taiwan from the mainland of China. The Xiamen Mountain and Sea Trail is tremendous. It is 31 kilometers (19 miles). However, you can’t ride a bike on this trail due to its height.

There are many places to rent sightseeing tandem bicycles in Xiamen. It is great for a family or friends to enjoy the ocean while cycling. Of course, this big bicycle is not designed for tour de France.

Albert Einstein wrote a letter to his son in 1930, “Life is like riding a bicycle. To keep your balance, you must keep moving.” The wheels of 2024 are almost here. Have a joyful riding in the new year. Let your dream take flight!
